The OBC caste list is not one paper. The central list is separate from the state list. A caste on the MP list does not become OBC in UP by itself. The PDF search means this: open the notification of the state whose certificate you need. OBC means Other Backward Classes.
Below are the doors for five states. A full count is not printed in one table. Do not treat blog figures of 68, 76, 91 and 700 as an official count.
OBC caste list PDF
The central list opens on the National Commission for Backward Classes site, by state name. The state list is kept by that state’s backward classes department or commission. If the job is central, match the central list. If the job is with the state, match the state list. The name does not have to be on both. It can be on one and not the other.
Download the PDF. Do not cut a name from a screenshot. An old PDF and a new notification can differ. Read the date. If there is no date, treat the paper as incomplete.
OBC caste list MP
The central list for Madhya Pradesh is on NCBC. Entries such as Yadav, Ahir, Gwal, Barhai, Teli and Kumhar appear on that list. A sub-caste can sit inside one entry. The figure 68 is from a compilation, not the commission’s own count. The state list can be longer than the central list. If the certificate is from Madhya Pradesh, read the MP list. The 2019 notice of 27 is not the list. Recruitment is 87 moving and 13 on hold. A name on the list does not mean the letter has come.
OBC caste list UP
The Uttar Pradesh state list is on the commission PDF. Ahir, Yadav, Kurmi, Jat, Gurjar, Lodhi, Kushwaha and Kachhi are written there. The older central list is a separate PDF. The figure of 76 entries is from a college site, not a commission notice. Population figures of 19 and 7.4 percent are estimates, not a census. The 40 percent demand in the 68,500 teacher recruitment is not a cutoff. A UP paper does not run in MP by itself.
OBC caste list Rajasthan PDF
The Rajasthan state list is on the Social Justice and Empowerment Department page and PDF. Ahir, Jat, Gurjar, Teli and Suthar are on that page. The figure of 91 castes is from a blog, not a department notice. Rajasthan PDF and Rajasthan list are two searches for the same door. Open the PDF and match the spelling. One letter off, and the form can stick.
OBC caste list Maharashtra Marathi
The Maharashtra list is in Marathi. OBC is not the only category there. Vimukta Jati, Nomadic Tribes and Special Backward Category are separate. Kunbi, Lewa Kunbi, Lewa Patil and Kurmi are entries on the central list. Maratha is not OBC by itself. The 2018 Gaikwad report said Maratha and Kunbi are one. That is a report, not the certificate rule. The fight is the Kunbi paper. 22,20,577 is Hake’s claim, not a list count. Take the Marathi PDF from the social justice department or its authorised copy.
OBC caste list CG
The Chhattisgarh central list is a separate PDF. The state backward classes commission site has a door for both the state list and the central list. The claim of 700 castes is from a blog. A CG paper is not an MP paper, even if the districts were in one state before the split. Check the CG PDF for whether the name is on the CG list.
The full-form page is here: what the OBC full form is. NCL is the income paper. Treat the certificate as complete only when the name is on the list and the income is inside the limit. Creamy layer is 8 lakh, since 13 September 2017. 15 lakh is a demand.
Keep the counter slip and the PDF in one envelope. An agent’s rate is not a notice. Do not send money. A forwarded list is not the government list.
Yadav and a Yadav sub-caste can be one entry. Do not ask for a separate number for the sub-caste. Write on the form what is in the PDF. The kitchen search is not tied to this list. Take the certificate from the office. This page does not make the paper.
How to match the name
Open the PDF. Search the caste name. If the sub-caste is inside that entry, do not ask for a separate number. If the name is missing, check the other spelling. Yadav and Ahir can be one entry. Still write on the form what will be printed on the certificate. Write the state name at the top. Do not attach an MP PDF to a UP form.
A central job can ask for the central list and the state NCL. A state job needs that state’s paper. Another state does not run by itself. An agent’s list is a forward. The office counter is the path. The slip should have both the year and the caste.
The SC and ST lists are not the OBC list. The EWS 10 is not OBC either. Keep the three papers apart. An OBC column in the census does not count the population yet. The column demand does not change the list. Check whether the name is on today’s PDF.
Advice:
The plain point is this. The OBC caste list is separate for the Centre and the state. MP, UP, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and CG have their own doors. Open the PDF of the state whose certificate you need. Maratha is not OBC by itself. The Kunbi paper is separate. 76, 91 and 700 are blog numbers. Match the name, spelling included, on the PDF. Do not send money.
