Using several UPI apps and bank accounts often scatters your payment information. MyUPI inside the BHIM app brings recent transaction history, AutoPay mandates, recipient checks, eligible complaints and an account Safety Switch into one place. It is a useful control centre, provided you understand the time window and what each action actually changes.
Where do you find MyUPI?
Sign in to the BHIM app using your registered account. On the home screen, open the MyUPI banner and select Continue to MyUPI. BHIM’s support guidance says this opens the MyUPI platform. Its AI assistant can answer UPI questions and help locate transaction, mandate and complaint options. The exact layout can change with app updates.
Recent history across apps
MyUPI can show UPI transactions for linked accounts regardless of whether the originating app was Google Pay, PhonePe or BHIM. It includes debits and credits and offers an app-wise filter. The current BHIM support instructions describe a 60-day history window. Do not treat it as a lifetime archive or a formal bank statement. For older or disputed payments, check your bank records and transaction reference.
AutoPay and subscriptions
You can review active UPI AutoPay mandates and subscriptions and, where available, pause, resume or cancel them. IPO and UPI Circle mandates may appear when applicable. Before choosing an action, read the merchant, linked account and purpose of the next debit. Cancelling a mandate does not automatically return an earlier completed debit and can affect an essential service.
Recipient checks and Pay Again
Verify UPI ID Before I Pay displays available recipient details for the entered ID. NPCI BHIM also describes checking the name tied to a number or QR. A matching name helps, but does not certify a merchant’s honesty. An eligible earlier person-to-person transaction can be repeated through Pay Again. The new payment is processed in BHIM even if another app handled the old one.
Complaints and the Safety Switch
Eligible transactions may offer a Raise Complaint action. Report a suspicious debit to your bank immediately as well. Safety Switch pauses outgoing UPI payments and AutoPay debits for a selected linked bank account while incoming credits remain active. After using it, you cannot independently restore UPI in MyUPI; contact the bank. For a lost phone, the first steps are contacting the bank and mobile operator.
Choose the right action
Use history and its app filter to locate a recent payment; inspect mandates for an unexplained recurring debit; verify the recipient and final screen before sending money. If fraud is suspected, contact the bank and, in India, use 1930 where appropriate. No single MyUPI control solves every payment problem, so reconcile app information with official bank records.
