Staff Selection Commission declared it on 12 October 2026. Candidates who appeared in the CBT from 27 April to 30 May can now check their status on ssc.gov.in.

How to Check SSC GD Result 2026
Visit the official website ssc.gov.in. Go to the Results section. Look for the Constable (GD) in CAPFs and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination 2026 notice dated 12 October.

Out of 48,83,309 applicants, 21,56,776 appeared in the Computer Based Examination. 1,97,408 candidates are provisionally shortlisted for the next stage.

Vacancies total 25,487 across BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, Assam Rifles, SSF and NCB. CISF has the highest number.
Cut Off Marks
Cut off varies by state/UT, category, gender and area (General, Border, Naxal-affected). Check the official PDF for your exact cut off.
Minimum qualifying marks before NCC bonus:
UR: 30%
OBC/EWS: 25%
SC/ST/ESM: 20%
Example for SSF male candidates (approximate from reports): UR 146.18, OBC 145.56, EWS 144.21, SC 140.95, ST 135.03.

Next Stage: PET and PST
Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. CRPF is the nodal force. Dates are expected in November 2026. Watch rect.crpf.gov.in for updates and admit cards.
PET includes race: 5 km in 24 minutes for males, 1.6 km for females. PST checks height, chest and weight. Relaxations apply as per rules.
Qualified candidates proceed to medical examination.
Advice for Candidates
If shortlisted, start physical preparation immediately. Practice running regularly. Focus on stamina, correct footwear and recovery.
Know your height and chest measurements in advance. Keep documents ready: 10th marksheet, Aadhaar, photos and signature.
