Good news for OnePlus users. The ColorOS 17 Open Beta is now live in India. Owners of the OnePlus 13, 13R, 13s, 15 and 15R can apply until 12 October.
This beta is important because OnePlus is shifting from OxygenOS to ColorOS. The Android 17-based update is set for a global launch on 13 October.
Which phones are eligible?
These phones are currently eligible for the ColorOS 17 Open Beta in India:

Only Indian units can apply. The phone must be on the latest OxygenOS 16 build.
How to apply
The steps are simple:
- Open Settings
- Go to About device
- Tap the three dots at the top right
- Select Beta program
- Choose ColorOS 17 Open Beta and Apply
Applications are open from 9 to 12 October. After approval you can download the update from Settings.
Things to keep in mind
This is a beta, so some features may be incomplete. You may face battery drain, heating or app crashes. Think twice before installing on your primary phone. Take a backup first.
OnePlus has said some features will arrive in later updates. You can report bugs by dialing *#800# or using Help & feedback in Settings.
