Complete Ambe Tu Hai Jagdambe Kali lyrics in Hindi
Sing the refrain “O Maiya hum sab utaren teri aarti” where shown. Your family or temple may sing slightly different words; compare with the reading used there.

A simple English explanation
The hymn praises the Mother’s strength and compassion and expresses the devotee’s prayer. The notes follow the verse order. They are a simple explanation, not a word-for-word translation.
- The devotee greets the Mother as Ambe, Jagdambe, Kali and Durga, singing her praise and offering aarti.
- People facing trouble pray for protection from the Mother, described as riding a lion and having eight arms.
- The bond between a mother and her child expresses trust in the Mother’s compassion.
- The devotee asks for a place at her feet instead of wealth, seeking her care and shelter.
- With an aarti tray in hand, the devotee asks for blessing, protection and devotion.
