World Mental Health Day 2026 is on 10 October. The World Federation for Mental Health has marked the date since 1992. WHO walks with it. The 2026 theme is Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change — people who have lived the path should not only tell a story. They should sit at the table. This page is for Hindi-English awareness posters. It is not treatment. It does not replace a doctor.
The wide poster is featured. The three tall posters below are for a phone. Long-press 3 seconds to save.
What World Mental Health Day 2026 asks
Strain in the mind is not a private shame. Broken sleep, pulling away from work, anger without a clear reason — these are not a stamp of weakness. Sometimes talk is enough. Sometimes a doctor, a counsellor, or a helpline is needed. The day’s job is less shame, more asking. WHO’s theme says: do not only hand a microphone to people with lived experience. Give them a chair.
विश्व मानसिक स्वास्थ्य दिवस 2026। बात करना ताकत है। अकेला मत संजोओ।
World Mental Health Day 2026. Listening is also care. Asking for help is not weakness.

What listening looks like at home
Sit quiet before advice. The line “this happens to everyone” often shuts the door. Ask: are you sleeping? is food sitting well? have you told anyone? Do not mock the answer. The same rule holds for children and for elders. Sending a poster is easy. Sitting ten minutes without a phone is heavier — and useful.

Where to find help
India’s Tele-MANAS helpline is 14416. It is a 24-hour conversation service, not a poster. If the weight is too much, do not carry it alone. Ask a family doctor. Save a school or office counsellor number if one exists. This article writes no prescription. In a crisis, the phone comes first.

10 October is a date. Listening is the rest of the year.
