Rahu Kalam is in the morning today. Monday, 5 October 2026. The usual panchang table says 7:30 to 9:00. That is not a clock law. The day is split into eight parts from sunrise. If the sun comes up near 6 in Indore, this is the window.
A new deal, taking the car out, starting a journey. People put off that hour and a half. The bank counter does not stop. The office biometric does not stop. This is a home belief.
How the eight parts are made
Measure the day from sunrise to sunset. Twelve hours, and each part is ninety minutes. Monday’s Rahu takes the second part. Sun at 6, so 7:30 to 9:00. Sun at 6:20, and the window can slide by twenty minutes. A printed chart is an estimate. The city panchang sits above it.
Tuesday’s Rahu Kalam is read as 3:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon. Wednesday 12:00 to 1:30. Thursday 1:30 to 3:00. Friday 10:30 to 12:00. Saturday 9:00 to 10:30. Sunday 4:30 to 6:00. All of that is the 6am sunrise table.
People leaving for office
If a new file has to be signed between 7:30 and 9:00, many people keep it for after 9. If the bus has to be caught, Rahu Kalam does not stop the bus. The belief is about a new start. The daily road is separate. An old Indore to Bhopal bus leaves in this window. If the ticket is cut, the panchang does not cut it.
Yamaganda on Monday is written as 10:30 to 12:00, and Gulika as 1:30 to 3:00. The three are not one thing. Rahu Kalam is the morning. Match afternoon work to Gulika, not to Rahu.
Puja and the fast
Monday’s fast is a separate article. Lighting the lamp in Rahu Kalam is not written as banned. A new shop lock, a mundan, an engagement. Those are put off. The daily lamp can be lit. Home food does not stop.
If Navratri is on, read the kalash time from the home panchang. Rahu Kalam is not a kalash notice. Keep the two lines apart.
Indore morning
October mornings are misty. The sun shines late, the rise stays near the same time. The 7:30 chart is close for Indore, not a fixed second. If the temple board writes another time, follow the board. This page does not count seconds.
If the school bus comes at 7:45, Rahu Kalam does not stop it. If a new book has to be bought today, the practice is after 9. Both calls are the home’s.
If the phone panchang asks for a city, pick Indore. Delhi’s sun is not Indore’s sun. A twenty-minute gap is common. A new vehicle’s dispatch is kept after 9. The daily route of an old vehicle does not break. Write the time on paper, so two charts do not run in the house.
Advice:
Take today’s window as 7:30 to 9:00, if the sun rises at 6. New deals and new journeys are put off in that gap. The bank and the bus do not stop. If sunrise slides, the time slides. The city panchang sits above this.
