Validate XML syntax and indent element-only structures while preserving mixed text and xml:space content.
How to use
Paste XML and process. If valid, copy or download formatted XML. Correct any reported syntax error in the original input and try again.
Limitations
200,000 characters; 10,000 nodes and 100 levels for formatted structures. DTD/entity declarations are rejected. This is well-formedness validation, not XSD validation. Mixed content, CDATA and xml:space content are kept together to avoid inserting meaningful whitespace. Serialization may normalize quotes and empty tags; review before replacing a signed document.
