What this tool does

Change comma, semicolon, tab or pipe delimiters while retaining quoted fields, multiline cells and leading zeros.

How to use

Paste CSV or TSV, select the actual input separator and desired output separator. Optionally enable spreadsheet formula protection, then process and download CSV or TSV.

Limitations

200,000 characters and 10,000 rows. Text values are preserved; no numeric conversion. Wrong separator selection can produce the wrong column structure. Malformed quotes are rejected. Formula protection adds an apostrophe to risky cells and therefore changes values. No Excel formatting or formulas are recalculated.
