Toyota Glanza Facelift 2026: From ₹6.99 Lakh, but Which Features Do You Get?
The new Glanza’s headlines put ₹6.99 lakh, ADAS and ventilated seats next to each other. A buyer’s first question should be whether that starting price includes all those features. It does not: the grade matters. Toyota announced the new Glanza on 14 October 2026, with premium equipment assigned to different variants.
This guide uses Toyota’s launch release and current variant matrix. It explains the price, new engine, petrol/CNG choices, grade-specific equipment and practical questions before booking. We do not claim to have road-tested the car or established its real-world fuel economy.
What is confirmed about price and booking?
Toyota’s 14 October announcement gives a starting ex-showroom price of ₹6,99,000, or ₹6.99 lakh. That is not the complete on-road amount. Review registration, insurance and the other quotation items before deciding the amount you actually need to pay. A headline is not a final budget.
The release lists a ₹11,000 booking amount. Its booking note says opening from 15 October and deliveries from the first week of November, while the body describes bookings as open. Verify current booking status and a written delivery estimate with the dealership before paying rather than assuming those two statements resolve every customer’s situation.
Use Toyota’s official Price List for your location/dealer. We have not filled every grade with an unverified rupee figure. Match the date of the price list to the quotation; the official lookup also warns that prices can change. Ask which optional items are included in any total you are shown.

New engine, CNG AMT and claimed fuel efficiency
The new Glanza uses the 1.2-litre Z12E three-cylinder engine. Toyota lists petrol output at 61 kW and 112.4 Nm, with CNG-mode output of 51.3 kW and 101.8 Nm. The added CNG AMT option is worth examining if you want to consider running costs alongside easier gear operation in traffic.

Petrol’s km/l and CNG’s km/kg measure different units. A larger number alone does not establish lower running cost. Consider local fuel prices, monthly distance and the purchase-price difference. Traffic, air-conditioning, load and driving style can also affect what you achieve in everyday use.
E, S, G, V and V(O): understand the grade differences
This grade-level summary follows Toyota’s current equipment matrix. Keep accessories separate from standard equipment. A feature being available somewhere in the range does not mean that it comes on every variant.

ADAS, airbags and the new design/features
Toyota’s matrix shows six airbags across the grades and the ADAS functions in V(O). Calling the starting-price model an ADAS-equipped car would therefore be misleading. Safety equipment and a crash-test rating are different information; this article assigns the facelift no unverified star rating.
Level 2 assistance is not driverless driving. NHTSA’s automation-level explanation retains the driver’s responsibility and active supervision. Read the vehicle manual and operating conditions. A feature name is not permission to stop paying attention to the road.
Toyota highlights refreshed front styling, the grille/bumper, CNG AMT and added comfort features. Depending on grade, choices include ventilated seats, cooled wireless charging and connected functions. Match the exact equipment to the current brochure and specification sheet rather than deciding availability from a promotional picture alone.
Advice: what to check on the test drive and quotation
Write down your actual use: monthly distance, city traffic, access to CNG stations and the family’s luggage needs. Do not choose petrol or CNG from a mileage headline alone. Examine actual boot usability and the refuelling routine for the CNG version rather than assuming that the arrangement suits every household.
Request the transmission you intend to buy for the test drive. Driving a manual alone is not enough to evaluate an AMT purchase. Check low-speed traffic, parking, reversing and response on your normal route. Having family members sit in the car can also help assess rear-seat comfort and ease of entry and exit.
Ask for separate written figures for ex-showroom price, registration, insurance, accessories and optional packages. Get booking cancellation/refund conditions, the delivery estimate and the exact variant in writing. Discounts and waiting times are not identical across cities. A verbal assurance is not a substitute for a clear payment record.
When comparing finance, consider tenure, interest rate, processing charges and total repayment as well as the EMI. A longer tenure can make the monthly amount look smaller while leaving a separate question about overall expense. These are general purchase checks, not a recommendation for a particular loan offer.
At delivery, match the vehicle identification, invoice, selected variant, visible condition and promised equipment. If a dealer offers old stock, distinguish the facelift from the previous model. Ask which version a quotation covers instead of assuming that every newly sold car has the latest facelift equipment.

Is ₹6.99 lakh the on-road price? No. It is the announced starting ex-showroom price. Your location and the other quotation items affect the payable total.
Does the base grade have ADAS? The official equipment matrix places ADAS in V(O). Do not treat the starting price as the price of the ADAS-equipped variant.
Is there an automatic CNG option? The new CNG S/G choices include AMT. Match the exact grade and its current price to the dealership quotation.
