Google XYZ Formula Resume Bullet Builder

Google XYZ Formula Resume Bullet Builder
xyz wide — VH Original tool cover

Structure your own achievement, measurable result and action into an XYZ resume bullet without AI or invented claims.

Build a bullet from your own facts

Fill X with the achievement, Y with the evidence or measurement, and Z with the action you took. Select Build to receive a structured sentence. This is a local template formatter. It does not generate claims or assess whether the achievement is true.

The XYZ structure

The English template is: Accomplished X, as measured by Y, by Z. Begin X with a concise result such as a reduction in support response time. Y should explain the observed change or scope. Z should describe the method, process or project that produced it.

Example with measurable evidence

X: a reduction in support response time. Y: a 20% decrease in median response time. Z: automating ticket routing. The combined statement connects an outcome with a measurable result and a concrete action. Use this example only as a pattern, not as your own claim.

When you do not have percentages

Do not invent a percentage. A count, verified time saving, coverage, project scope or documented qualitative result may provide useful evidence. If there is no evidence at all, collect it or write a simpler truthful bullet outside this template. Every field is required to preserve the structure.

Edit for clear grammar

The formatter cannot detect awkward grammar, duplication or exaggerated language. Read the sentence aloud and shorten repetition. Replace vague claims with specific facts. Keep the final bullet appropriate for the role and the actual work you performed.

Privacy and hiring limits

Your entries are processed in your browser without an external AI service or API. Copy or download the sentence to edit it in your resume. This independent tool is not affiliated with Google and does not guarantee ATS ranking, interviews or hiring outcomes.
